Welcome to the official website of Dr. Peter J. Folliard, an award-winning conductor and educator with a distinguished career in the world of classical music. As a conductor, Dr. Folliard has held positions with some of the most prestigious orchestras in the country, including the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and The United States Air Force Band and Symphony Orchestra. As an educator, he has taught at institutions such as the Juilliard School, Eastman School of Music, Peabody Conservatory, and Crane School of Music. Currently, Dr. Folliard serves as the Dean of Augustana University’s School of Music in Sioux Falls, SD, where he leads a faculty of over thirty musicians and professors and 250 music students.
